I have to agree with TheDieselduck here, many great lakes company are phasing out the Mechanical assistant and Oiler jobs in favor of hiring M.U.C (mobile utility crew member) at least i know this to be true for the Tanker fleet. She's a passenger tour\short cruise boat. I wouldn't say she missed the turn, more like the guy on the bridge wasn't paying attention to what he was doing from what I hear.
