Re: increasing fuel efficiency of engine

It is known very interesting fact. The newest model of the gas lawn mower throws into an environment in 93 times more emissions than the newest model of the car. It is not surprisingly because is not exist laws which regulate emissions of the lawn movers. As it is known the lawn mower is equipped by...

Re: increasing fuel efficiency of engine

To Big Pete I have never heard of any engine that is 75% efficient . Of course you are right. As usual say that the coefficient efficiency of the engine consists from two meanings, namely, a thermodynamic and a mechanical. First meaning show what part of a warm is using for the useful activity and w...

Re: increasing fuel efficiency of engine

Merlyn, you right. Friction losses are an important part of both engines. I think that necessary, from my side, to analyze in detail friction losses in the suggested engine. From the first view it seems normal force in the sleeve will be significantly less than in the conventional one.

Re: increasing fuel efficiency of engine

Hi Big Pete, If you have one apple and I have one apple and I give you my apple and you give me your apple so in result each of us will have only one apple. But if you have one idea and I have one idea so in result we are both will have two ideas.:-) I support your reasoning that “both engines have ...

Re: increasing fuel efficiency of engine

Dear Big Pete, First at all I apologize for my English. I am only 7 years in Canada and I am trying to improve my English using every opportunity. And you encouraged me when you say "Your later Post is written much more clearly":-). About our discussion. The main indicators for the engine ...

Re: increasing fuel efficiency of engine

Merlyn, Thank you for interest. I think there is not problem. Racks move straight and rotate but crankshaft as well as rotates. Lubrication system has long time history of using and perfection of design of system is without doubt. The Capital Cost of the engine and its running costs I think is in go...

Re: increasing fuel efficiency of engine

Dear friends Mr. Big Pete and Merlyn, thank you so much for participation in discussion. Please note that in your comments and in my abstract the key word is optimized, namely " moment of time of ignition of mixture must be optimized..... ". In my opinion it is possible to define "gol...

increasing fuel efficiency of engine

Improving fuel efficiency of the engine. The modern scales of the production of the piston engines of the internal combustion have resulted in their significant impact on an environment. The emission from engines of internal combustion essentially increase the concentration of the chemical substance...

Re: engine without crancshaft

Hi Big Pete, Thank you for your detailed analysis and conclusions. They have been given me good meal for brain exercises. “However the crankshaft is usually rotating at constant velocity….” I think that constant velocity in this case is quasi-constant and velocity of rotation described by the schedu...

Re: engine without crancshaft

I wish I understand the original post better. However I can see a huge disadvantage, there is a large mass of Hydraulic fluid that has to be accelerated and decelerated taking considerable power and also there will be large frictional losses in the hydraulic circuit. Which means the hydraulic fluid...

Re: engine without crancshaft

Dear Merlyn, I appreciate your excellent sarcasm and I glad I that gave you food for brain exercises. :-) Actually it is my mistake. I did not express my thought correctly. I wanted to say that in the presented engine might be used design of two-stroke cylinders. In any case, I thankful for your par...

engine without crancshaft

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uEXPAZlZYg Current engines of internal combustion are constructed under the classical circuit, namely, the cylinder, the piston, a rod, a cranked shaft. It should be noted, that in traditional engines a number of well-known deficiencies takes place, namely: 1. An ine...
