Seatime requirements
What is the required seatime from 4th engineer to 2nd engineer? I have hear lots of conflicting answers. I finished the cadet program and I was told it's 12 months Seatime from 4th to second if you skip the thirds exam. But it's 6 months to 3rd and 12 more for seconds. according to the marine person...

i have my 4/m ticket and a "tanker familiarization" and" CoP basic training for oil and chemical tanker - officer"
can i not work on a tanker in the capacity of a 4th engineer or do i need and endorsement.

3rd year cadet with Canadian 4th class motor
Recently obtained my 4th class motor and i am still a student at BCIT. I am looking for a placement for my 3rd sea phase. I am fully capable of holding a watch on my own and conducting scheduled maintenance. Please PM me for my resume and certifications.
