Yes, the last time I inquired about power engineering the rules seemed to have changed. It is now mandatory to do the full power course. Even though a lot of the classes are the same unfortunately.

Life is changing. I need to find work onshore. 3rd class motor. I see a lot of opportunities at TC but seems like you need to have higher ticket mostly. working in the UK
Does anyone have any experience on working in the UK? I have a third class engineering ticket with all the MED's etc, just curious about how the system works when transferring over I guess. I have a UK passport so I'm good on that front, any info at all would be great, even about job prospects there...
