You need to check that weather it was installed properly or not. Follow steps listed in the manual one by one. I have seen this happen on 6 year old vessel. So, i suspect the system is installed wrongly.

Well, it depends on their staff, some people are really nice with their customers and sometimes you face extremely arrogant people. Its better to walk into the office and speak with the authorities regarding your issue.
