The only response that I could come up with on Bilge or Ballast discharge locations for ship side valves are as follows: The valves are to be of steel or other approved ductile material. Brian I have been teaching the S.V.M.O. since 2007, currently I have no persons failing the exam, 30 people have passed. I spend time with the students along with a study guide I developed in 2007.
