See picture of sludge from day tank..sample positive for water and this residue no idea....this was run through purifyer from storage tank...tested both tanks with water finding paste negative....cant keep fuel filter on engines ....

I work on a passenger ferry in a near costal 2 enviroment,right now we get 6 hours a day 16 in a 48 hours of rest.....is STCW 2010 going to impact me?

I would guess in the next few years a whole lot more certificates will be required in the aftermath of the Costa Concordia which imo is fine if it makes things safer,,,,But why does the Marine Industry continue to be reactive instead of proactive? Thanks all,just as I suspected...its a bummer for Chiefs trying to get reliefs..the average joe does not have these two spsm psm and are Not permitted to crew vessel..Even cooks and Stewards must have it in my region ...Atlantic CanadA
