Re: MPR2019 on the horizon, finally

This is...more or less the same as last may. Application process with sea time when holding a ticket over watchkeeper, but with some extra courses. Chief under 6MW is our 2nd class. And what in the fuck is 211 (1)? And notice subsection 89(1) is "reserved". When you go to the meeting, tell...

Some combination of a gear wheel, a prop, and a timing diagram.

Or bulbous bow symbol on your hip or something lol

Re: Chief Engineer - 28 day assignment in NL

$650 is quite too little.
It actually feels disrespectful to the qualifications/position.

A first class ticket very much deserves at least $800/day.

Re: Woman Offshore Organization

Is it, though? (Right now, for now) I'm being bombarded with job offers. I'm sure I've respectfully decline 20 different offers in the last 12 or less months. And women think differently. It's refreshing to get new ideas and viewpoints, it can open your mind sometimes on the way 'things have always ...

Re: Domestic Surge Protectors-Not So Good

Happened on my ship last year, Capt went ashore and bought one, plugged it up in the W/H. The counter top was stainless because there was a sink built in. Grounded out and was shooting lightning bolts in the sink

I informed him exactly this reason why, bye bye it went haha.

Re: OSH violations kill 3.

It's disturbing too, because everybody knows better. So why wouldn't they act better? Their superiors will/would have probably been on the stand, looking into the crowd at the deceased person's families and explaining why...I couldn't be able to live with myself. Not to mention the people involved s...

polish shafts. You shouldn't encourage that kind of behavior to get ahead! ... ... ... Oh wait, you meant in the machine shop, sorry. Lol Never be afraid to tinker, and get into work. Always do it safely, of course, and if you're unsure ask. Try to think steps ahead. What happens if I do this. How ...
