A big thanks and shout out goes to Tactical Marine Solutions, of Victoria BC, for making a $100 donation towards our web server administration.

They used the handy "donate" button, found on the bottom left of the main page, to apply funds directly to the site's web host, to cover server costs. Thank You indeed. They are actually the first to ever do it, even thought that button's been there for about four years now ehehehehe.

When using this button, the donation is made directly to the web server company - DreamHost in Los Angeles; the funds don't go towards my beer fund (although, if you wish you can send those to my paypal account - ehehehe), but rather directly towards the monthly operational expense of keeping servers online. So a kind donation by Tactical, is in direct support of our community.

The donate button leads to this page .... http://www.dreamhost.com/donate.cgi?id=7975

You can visit Tactical website here. http://www.tactmarine.com/

Again thank you, it is appreciated !

I am embarrased to say, I have never noticed the button before. It is very discreet. You should make it look like a fire supression system trip, given how many times I have seen them accidently pushed on the ships.

Yeah, I've always had a little something there; but sailors are pretty tight with their funds, I completely understand, I am one too! ehehehehe.
