Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached.

Post by Madzng »

Guys,

Am I trying to add attachments that are too big? I have tried adding attachments to a couple of the threads and keep getting the error message

"Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached."

Anybody have any ideas, whats the largest file that can be uploaded?

I have some interesting presentations to share.

Thanks

you must have a pretty big pgoto size, I have seen some large photos posted on here that I had to edit to be viewable.
When you upload, it should tell you the maximum photo size.
If not, the easiest and fastest way to decrease the file size is to right click on the photo and then send to email. It should ask you if you want to reduce the file size, hit yes, then save them from the email that pops up. I would save them with a different title so you don't loose the original if you intend to do further modifications to it.
Try that, if it doesn't work let me know.

Hi JK,

Thanks for the quick reply,

Unfortunately they are not photos I had intended to upload a couple .pdf files, one for the MAN ME engine, and a second to be placed in the LNG fuel thread relating to the launch a couple months ago for the MAN Diesel ME-GI (LNG fueled) engine.

I think I will have to e-mail them across for uploading on to the main website.

OK, I can fix the pdfs to a smaller size if you can't get in touch with Martin.

I believe I fixed this some time ago. Just checked now, you can post up to 10 files of 40mb or less on each message. That should cover just about any file we will see here, if you have other needs, just email me, we work something out.
