Hey Martin, how come I don't stay logged in, even when I check it off in the log in??

I knew you would say that. I find it very frustrating as well. I have been trying to find a solution, but haven't been able to right off the bat. I will keep looking where this bloody setting is.

It seems the auto log in problem is an issue with this new version. They increase security with this update, but some things come at a cost I guess. I changed some settings and now, at least, I am getting the blank spaces to be filled in automatically; but you still have to click ok to log on.

If this isn't happening for you, try clearing out the cookies, which you can do easily at the bottom of the board's web pages "Delete all board cookies ".

Oh yeah! I seem to be ok now. I use Firefox Browser and I had the link to the forum in my toolbar as a link to the "http://www.dieselduck.ca/forum/" the default index page for the forum. That link would require me to re-log in every time I went there. So what I did is log in, then go to the index page, then save that URL link as my "favorites" link; it auto log me in using the appropriate cookie, so hopefully that is the end of that annoying thingy.

That's got it, I was originally bookmarked to the main page of the site. This guarantees I will now forget my password!
Now if I can get the Monitor working on my laptop, life would be good.
I have to go in through the dashboard to avoid it from locking up solid.

Finally Martin, got the Monitor working. My router was crapping out. I had a bunch of sites not working at the end of it.

wooo hooo !

I finally fixed it. Found the error. It was so simple, I feel like an idiot. Anyways, you should be able to stay logged on now. There was an error in the domain name which I though would not make a difference, but of course it did. I don't know how many times I look at that, and could not see it right in front of me. Oh well, better late than never.

You can purge the board's cookies (bottom right hand area, look for the text link), and then it should work for you as well.
