Hello JK,

Yes I have been busy, but with another little one the way its been a little work here and little work there, so the final product has been unpredictable in its time line but hopefully be better than the original boards.

I think it will be better with this new style.

I think so too. The old format was tough to follow at times.

Our own X Universe

Post by The Dieselduck »

Welcome to the new Galley Wireless. I'm happy you find it to your liking.

It does look similar because it is pretty much similar. The board is built around the open source software "phpbb" as is the one for x universe, which is probably the most popular bulleting board software out there.

I have just the basic design, maybe in the future I will customize it, but I found this design, which is off the shelve, easy to read and navigate with no real need to change much.

On the flip side, its very spam prone, which I'm finding to be annoying, since I dint expect that, but I guess theres is always someone trying to screw with you somewhere.

Anyways, thanks for the visit.

Smilies

Post by The Dieselduck »

No need for that around here, we are very serious here !

Well ok, I am not entirely sure how they work just yet, I think it is a personal preference, and also a board setting. I did turn them off for the board. I dunno, I am not a big fan of the smilies myself.
