Looking for cadet internship on a cruizeship

Post by NamekEngineer »

Hi, I was wondering what companys I should contact about getting a summer cadet workterm onboard a cruize ship. If you know of any companies who would hire a 1st year canadian marine engineering student, for some kind of cadet internship, paid or non-paid any information is appreciated, thanks.

Royal Caribbean use to hire cadets, probably still do; Princess as well. I imagine most lines do.

What school are you going through? Generally they would organize the contacts for you. Otherwise, I would contact the cruise lines directly, through their website, or by phone. But HR people seems to love playing poker, and will never let on exactly what it is they need and how to go about jumping through the hoops, so be patient.
