OCTOBER BRANCH MEETING of the Vancouver Island Branch of the Canadian Institute of Marine Engineering will start at 7PM Thursday October 20 in the Lower Lounge of the Naden Officers’ Wardroom in Esquimalt.

Bryon Meston from ABB Turbocharging Service Division will give a presentation on the latest in marine turbocharger technologies, equipment and service. The focus of the presentation was the interaction between turbocharger and engine, specifically where the energy for boost pressure comes from, the implications of different combustion cycles and the effect on emissions.

Guests, colleques and spouses are always welcome at our monthly meetings.
