SEPTEMBER BRANCH MEETING – The first regular monthly branch meeting of the 2012/2013 term will take place in the Lower Lounge of the Esquimalt Naden Wardroom on Thursday September 20 at 7PM.

Mark Collins – Vice President of Engineering at BC Ferries, will be giving a presentation about the Denman Island cable ferry; technical challenges, how BCFS is mitigating risks in the project, positive aspects of using a different approach to providing ferry service, how user expectations affect the project, where the cable operation expertise is coming from etc. Mark Collins always gives a very well prepared and thought provoking presentation. This is a great way to kick the new season off and should not be missed.
