Philip Woodcock, Operations Director and QHSE Manager for Workships Contractors, will guide you through:
• An introduction/update on the world's offshore wind industry and the opportunities for Canada.
• Marine assets used in the construction, operations and management of offshore windfarms -- from crew transfer vessels through to installation jackups.
• Regulatory framework and guidance documents applicable.
Philip Woodcock, Operations Director and QHSE Manager for Workships Contractors, a leading vessel management company specializing in all aspects of the offshore industry.
Captain Woodcock is a Master Mariner with an MSc from the University of Wales. He sailed for 11 years in the British Merchant Navy before coming ashore to work as a safety auditor for Carnival Corporation. He was a Nautical Surveyor for the Bermuda Ship Registry before joining Workships in 2009.
