2015 June - CIMarE VIB Meeting - Facility Tour

The Vancouver Island Branch of the CIMarE has arranged a tour of Viking Air at 15:00 Friday June 19 [meet at 14:55 in the lobby]. Viking Air manufactures, repairs and modernizes de Havilland aircraft and actually builds brand new Twin Otters.

Tours are limited to 25 people per tour. The tours generally last 1½ hours and include an intro to Viking, Q&A, and a tour of the manufacturing facility. Viking will provide both hearing and eye protection, however as we will be touring the manufacturing floor no open-toed shoes are allowed. Advanced notice is needed if there will be any children under the age of 17 or if there is anyone in your group that has accessibility issues. They can accommodate both but advanced notice is required.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you want to attend and how many guests you would like to bring. Viking Air wants to know how many will be in our group no later than Friday June 12.
