Registration for the Mari-Tech Conference and Exhibition will open mid-November. Take advantage of Early Bird rates until March 2nd, 2017. Detailed conference registration fees can be found on the website http://www.mari-tech.org or by clicking here.

On behalf of the St. Lawrence Branch of the Canadian Institute of Marine Engineering (CIMarE), we would like to invite you to submit your candidacy for a Volunteer Position for our 2017 Conference & Exhibition.

Call for Speakers

The call for speakers is now closed. Thank you to everyone that submitted an abstract. Keep a watch on our conference website for program updates coming soon.

Public Services and Procurement Canada, with the support of National Defence, the Canadian Coast Guard, Innovation Science and Economic Development Canada and Transport Canada, will present a federal marine procurement outlook session. This session will provide an update and preview for both ongoing and upcoming procurements in areas such as small vessel construction, repair, refit and vessel chartering.
The session will provide industry with insight and engagement opportunities on upcoming procurement activities. It will include both a formal outlook presentation, as well as opportunities for one-on-one discussions between the government and industry.

The 2017 Mari-Tech Conference & Exhibition:

It's official! The keynote speakers and technical program have been selected. Keynote Address
Mari-Tech 2017 welcomes the Honorable Marc Garneau, Minister of Transport, who will launch the conference with an opening address on April 20th.

Delivering the opening keynote presentation is Dr. Mary Donohue. Dr. Mary, as she is widely known, is North America's most pre-eminent keynote speaker on today's multigenerational workplace. Her ground-breaking research on generational learning and communication unlocks the secrets to raising productivity, employee engagement and even happiness at work. At this year’s Mari-Tech conference, on April 19th, the Government of Canada will be presenting a Federal marine procurement outlook session. This year’s session will focus on upcoming Marine Procurements, with discussions on Federal contracting, Value Proposition and industrial Technical Benefits (ITB’s). The session will provide an overview of upcoming procurements, over the course of the next three years. Public Services and Procurement Canada will also offer one-on-one engagement discussions on April 20th and 21st.
