The Canadian Institute of Marine Engineering, Vancouver Island Branch

On Wednesday, 23 September, the Vancouver Island Branch of CIMarE will be meeting to hear a presentation by

David Medley of W & O Supply on “Technological Advancements in Marine Piping Systems----new methods to minimize hotwork, time, and weight”

The presentation will start at 1900, after a meet & greet starting about 1830 at the Chief Petty Officers' Mess, HMCS MALAHAT (the naval reserve detachment). It is at the end of Dallas Rd in Victoria. A bartender will be present at the NO HOST bar.

Guests and Spouses are always welcome.

I usually try to make it out, and this topic sounds interesting, and I wanted to meet you F2F, but unfortunately I had previous commitments. So I wont be able to go. If you haven't been yet, the crowd is quite nice and always happy to see new faces. I think some of your co workers might be interested in going, we see them once in a while.

We will catch up some other day, I hope,
