Does anyone know what an Edward's Air Pump is? A friend of mine is writing, and would like to know.

My heavens, was he asked that?

It is a pump run off the old steam recip engines crossheads.
They are designed to to handle air and condensate from a condensor.

I've seen one 25 years ago in a museum.

oh God, I just realized it is more like 28 years :shock:

Yes,
The only experence I have with steam are TA's, and cargo pumps, but never propulsion.

Most Systems I am looking at these days are Hot water or thermal oil.
