When I first tried this..............a wee while ago, I was told it would mean school and then all the exams. Things have changed since then. Mind you a good friend of mine with a Foreign Going UK Masters, had to go to school, for 6 months, then sit all his exams again. A bit of a pain as he had been Master for 15 years !!!
The big hurdle here will be your immigration status. Before TC issue a ticket, you will need to be either a Citizen, or Perm Resident. With a Canadian wife, you are eligable for " spousal sponsership " which can be as quick as 12 months..............and applied from within Canada. If you apply as a " skilled worker " it has to be done from OUTSIDE Canada, and the current waiting list is 56 months. I just got my Perm Res, as a " skilled worker " application, and it took just over 48 months.
