If you are on Vancouver Island (I am in Nanaimo) and are looking to upgrade to a second or first class license - you are not alone.
I am looking for anyone interested in pooling resources - which I have much of - and bouncing ideas and study skills between us, in order to facilitate the exam process, in particular, the Part A exams (Mechanics, Thermo, Electro etc).
Interested ? Drop me an email and we will go from there.

Hi Fritz,
That's great to hear. Unfortunately I am in Nanaimo, and not often in Langley so logistically speaking it may be a bit awkward. But I do have resources and I can do video chats through skype. Preferably though it would be best to close ourselves in a room and dig at it.

Anyone have anything to say about Memorial Maritime Institutes's distance learning courses? Plus and minuses, experiences?
