Eccentric sheave drawing exam

Eccentric sheave drawing exam

Has anyone had to do the eccentric sheave and strap drawing. I was not too sure of the materials for the sheave and strap. cast steel? Any info would be great!

Well, I think you stomped me. I have never even heard of that. I had a look through the Reed's drawing book and there was no mention of it either. Did you get that question from the this site?

I got the question on Friday for my drawing exam, I found a similar drawing in Magibbons but there is no materials list. I was just trying to get an idea if I passed or not. Thanks anyways.
