Marine Advanced First Aid (31 hour course)

Post by MediProResponse »

Hi everyone,

For anyone in the Vancouver area we are running a Marine Advanced First Aid course December 5th to 8th on North Road in Coquitlam near Lougheed Mall. We are a Red Cross training provider and have run numerous Marine Advanced courses. The course is the 31-hour (plus examination time) course required by Transport Canada as per TC Transport Publication TP13008. Upon completion of the course participants receive their TC Marine Advanced First Aid certificate (valid for 5 years).

More information is available on our website http://www.mediproresponse.com/current- ... 5-to-dec-8

All of our courses are taught by professional firefighters and our courses are intended to be relevant and realistic to the students.

Please call or e-mail with any questions.

Have yu gone through the approval process with TC? The reason I ask is that if you have not, your training will not be recognized. There have been instances in the past where a non-approved "school" has provided training which has not been recognized by Examiners because the school is not listed in the Approved Courses TP.
