I don't understand the question, could you try to express your question differently?
Are you talking about a line drawing versus a sectional drawing of a pump? or are you talking about different types of pump?
Maybe some more context would help here

Do you mean by an inline pump an injection pump with the cylinders in line with a top gallery, helixs plungers and driven by a camshaft at the bottom part of the pump?
Governor box lub oil filled, all the rest of it by fueloil lubing it?
Delivery spring poppet valves whose holder screws onto the injection pipes, all before common rail?
The pump sectional?
Is this a DPA ( rotary ) pump with a rotor body encasing the rotor with the injection pipes screwed onto the rotary body of the pump?
Spline driven normally as opposed to the inline pump, normally driveshaft coupling or gears from the timing case.
