Cold Straightening of Main Propulsion Shaft in Canada?

Post by aron »

Hello to all,
I would like to know if anybody could recommend a company within Canada that could perform a Cold Straightening of a spare shaft for our vessel due to excessive run-out.
Weight: 4,000 kgs
Length: 10,000 mm
Diameter: 240mm on the shaft, 568mm on the flange.
In the past a previous shaft was sent to Marine Shaft in Europe, but naturally would like to send it within Canada.
The shaft is currently located in Quebec.
Thank you for your assistance.
