Victoria businessman, Bob Wright dies at 82

Bob Wright, the founder and head of the Oak Bay Marine Group has died.
He died last night at Royal Jubilee Hospital at the age of 82.
Wright was a well-known Victoria businessman and philanthropist.
Wright owned the Pacific Undersea Gardens in Victoria Harbour as well as other holdings in Campbell River, Ucluelet, Quadra Island, the Bahamas and Oregon.
He served as a member of Victoria City Council and donated 11-million dollars to the University of Victoria for the creation of the Bob Wright Centre for Ocean, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences.
