The love fest between TCMS brass and the special interest of the "connected crowd" is once again coming to Ottawa - yes, May 1, 2, 3, 2018 is the next CMAC - Canadian Marine Advisory Council.
Last time, it was a nice big expensive show without much substance, so I am told, with TC dodging most of the issues, as they most often do. I can't go as an individual; like most of you, I cant afford to go on my meager family budget, but I would love to go, since it is the only opportunity to say anything to TC. Since companies and special interest have the resources, and motivation to attend, we end up with shitty policy that only serves narrow agendas.
TC is looking for agenda items to add to the CMAC conference. I am submitting the above ideas for discussions, perhaps you should submit yours as well. There is a form to submit your own agenda items, below, unless of course you think TCMS is treating Marine Engineers in Canada most excellently!

I’ve never had the opportunity to attend either, it is, indeed for the “in” crowd.
