Another ship being towed around Scatterie breaks loose of the tow,

That would have been rather embarrassing to the Canadian Government.
I have passed Scatterie Island hundreds of times when I was still working on the ships and we always knew that that area rated right up with entering harbours as the place things could go badly wrong with disastrous results.
It is a beam sea until you get around the corner, then it is on the quarter which makes for a nice run down the coast.

Leaving a mark
Another oops.
Groupe Ocean, of Quebec City, left it's mark on the Royal Canadian Navy, but not quite for the right reasons.

They were extremely lucky to get off so lucky. Could you imagine the screaming from the public if she had ended up beside the Miner?
The government then would be in the position that they can't deal with one and not the other LOLOL. There must have been heavy duty sweating in the JRCC and Navy offices!
Always interesting to read the punters comments in the article regarding the warped "frame" , they must think she is a unibody construct.
