Captain Bennett awarded merchant navy medal

Post by JK »

As an engineer, I find it even more impressive that she is Captain on a sail driven ship. Mainly because anything pushed by wind is rather mysterious to me!

Blow merchant Skipper it's called over here J.K.
Personally I'm a stinkpot boy. ( power driven craft that is )
Further on the downside the blowmerchants only ever drank halves.
As you well know us engineers only ever drank pints.
Hope that was always the same over there?
Remembering The Good Old days, when Chiefs stood watches and all Torque settings were F.T.
