Brier Foundation Scholarship for Women in Maritime

Scholarship Requirements for Women in Maritime
Undergraduate applicants must be either Juniors or Seniors enrolled in a Maritime Academy actively participating in a program leading to a career at sea.
Graduate applicants must be currently enrolled in a graduate program in the field of navigation, bridge officer, or naval engineering leading to a career at sea.
All applicants must have and maintain a GPA of at least 3.25.
Merchant Mariner applicants must be enrolled in a maritime school for a Merchant Marine License or Merchant Mariner Document.
Document Requirements for Maritime / Merchant Mariner
Proof of USCG accepted qualifying sea service
Two letters of recommendation from professional contacts.
Copies of licenses or certificates currently held (i.e. a maritime document, etc.).
