Engineer wanted for Bahamas recovery effort.

Post by JK »

Engineer friends...

Engineer wanted for Bahamas recovery effort. Need an engineer with good all-around abilities from electrical wiring, small engine repair, rigging and improvisation, construction and fabrication skills to critical thinking, analyzation, and problem solving. This is not a shipboard or yacht position, not a drinking coffee in the control room position; it will be boots on the ground helping a team dedicated to Hurricane Dorian recovery in the Bahamas. This is a paid position, not looking for volunteers; unless you really want to. You will be working with a yacht owner who is passionate about helping the Bahamian people and who has already been "boots on the ground" himself; founded Abaco Outreach and will continue to assist with recovery from the worst Hurricane to ever hit the Bahamas. You may be lugging cases of water, carrying lumber, wiring an electrical panel or repairing a chainsaw. Must be a true team player willing to do whatever is needed, whenever it is needed. Primadonnas need not apply. I will be screening candidates and sending the most promising on to the boss for consideration. Send resume, cover letter, and salary desired to [email protected].
