I would just like to say thank you for creating this site. I have been out of work now for almost 2 months and even though no one seems to be hiring I have found almost all of the companies I have applied to from this site, either directly or indirectly. This is one of the best resources I have found for Marine Engineers. Hopefully I will be able to find work soon but if not it won't be bacause this site hasn't helped. Just thought I would let you know just how much many of us appreciate this database.
Rgds Larry
Thank You

Youre welcome
On behalf of the Forum's participants I extend, mine and their well wishes.
I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulties reaching a position on board. Unfortunately it is not uncommon to hear that, which was one of the founding principles behind the site, getting people in touch more effectively. Ultimately it is a sad commentary on the marine industry in general, where it is so vital for "new blood" to enter the industry, yet it is so difficult. As in the past, the only thing more I can offer, is my approval of your continued determination.
