I'm assuming a scotch marine boiler with reciprocating engine and condenser?
It's coal fired? So someone has to shovel? Natural drought?

ETA, yes, ship is coal fired.

There aren't many around now that have worked on those plants, nevermind coal fired!
Though it would be fun to poke around in the engine room.

I've sailed on a triple expansion up and downer (similar to the one on the Sandpebble) with an oil fired Scotch boiler (yes, I know what a Weirs Kinetiker is!) but never a coal fired one, that would need a gang of Paddies to keep going!
