Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): 3rd Class Marine Engineer Certificate
Experience: Experience an asset
Languages: Speak English

Specific Skills: Operate main engines, machinery and auxiliary equipment on ships, Stand engine room watch, Inspect and conduct maintenance and emergency repair, Maintain records and prepare reports on engine performance
Work Site Environment: Noisy, In/on water
