A new term position (13 months) for an organized, analytical planner

Experience, expertise and technology: that is what Victoria Shipyards Co. Ltd.-a member of Seaspan-brings to the marine industry in the design, construction and repair of all types and sizes of vessels.

As part of the FELEX Program west coast frigate mid-life refits, your key role will be developing detailed project plans for the repair, refit and refurbishment activities. This will include taking into account the project scheduling, manpower and material budgeting as well as monitoring and reporting on the project's status.

In addition to superior technical, analytical problem-solving and negotiation skills, you have up to 5 years' experience in planning, evaluating, tracking, analysing and reporting on marine ship repair projects. Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency are expected; a trades certification would be an asset.
