Offshore Recruiting Services Inc (ORSI) is currently seeking to identify qualified and experienced offshore personnel for a 2014 East Coast offshore light well intervention programme being conducted by Helix Energy Solutions Group. Positions are temporary/project based for a total period of 42 days (2 x crews working 21 day rotation each) commencing around 15th June 2014.

All positions require previous marine and, where appropriate, offshore drilling/light well intervention experience. Personnel will be expected to contribute towards creating a positive HSEQ culture, ensuring familiarity with and adherence to both Company and local HSEQ codes and practices. All applicants must hold the following minimum mandatory certifications:
MIST - Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST)
UKOOA Medical or equivalent
CAPP Medical (Canadian Requirement)
BST-R (Canadian Requirement)
Canadian First Aid (Canadian Requirement)
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems (Canadian Requirement)
H2S (Canadian Requirement)
Regulatory Awareness (Canadian Requirement)

Oiler, 1 position (day-shift)

Duties: Reporting to the Chief Engineer the Oiler is responsible for carrying out general engine room and maintenance work, checking machinery and tank oil levels, and cleaning and painting in the engine room.

Qualifications: Seafarers Medical Certificate, Engine Room Watchkeeping Certificate, Offshore Helideck Team Member, Helideck Assistant.

Experience: Two years+ experience in a similar role. DP experience on a similar Class 3 type vessel.

Wage: $29.88 per hour
