The incumbent will have to assess unforeseen scopes of work to be incorporated into the ongoing refit. The ability to work independently in a fast paced, dynamic, service-oriented environment is required. The knowledge and skills required of this position would normally be acquired through possession of a diploma in Naval Architecture, or a valid Marine Engineer certificate, supplemented with experience performing engineering work on sea going vessels; experience with passenger ferry vessels would be an asset.
