You will be part of a crew of 13 on board the new Moose Class supply vessel currently under construction in Valdivia, Chile.

The success criteria are to deliver top professional expertise, resulting in high performing vessels operating in a market, which calls for maximum uptime to satisfy our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all electrical systems and related equipment on board are maintained, serviced and tested, in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations, the electrical standards and best industry practice. This involves:
• Providing technical support for diagnostics and repair of electrical systems, reference systems, in situ and remote.
• Participating in FMEA and annual DP trails.
• Participating in maintenance periods in port and in dry dock.

You are able to deliver unmatched solutions with due consideration to rigorous health, safety and environmental procedures and the need to stay cost competitive.

Who we are looking for
An experienced and qualified marine electrician with a proven track record in the industry.´

Preference will be given to those who have the below experience/skills:
• Bachelor degree / diploma in electronics / electrical engineering
• STCW Certification
• Familiar with PLCs
• Automation and controls skills
• Experience with frequency drives
• Troubleshooting / fault finding skills
• Experience with marine navigational electronics / DP systems
• Familiar with LV and MV generators
• Breaker testing and maintenance
• Experience with power management systems
• Must understand engine, generator, propulsion, control systems
• Knowledge of class and flag state requirements as related to electrical installation on a ship.

There ix no STCW Certification for ETO, there won't be until 2017.......just sayin...
Discourage incest, ban country "music".
