Tug Captains
Master Near Coastal or Master 500GT

Chief Engineers
1st, 2nd, 3rd Class Certificate

Deck Officers
Watchkeeping Mate, Near Coastal Certificate (preference to Chief Mate, NC)

Cooks
Ship’s Cook Certificate

Licensed candidates must hold a valid Transport Canada Certificate of Competency, which is STCW 95 certified. All candidates must possess a valid seafarer’s medical, passport, as well as clearance to enter the US.

Experience with Z-drive units and GLPA pilotage area is preferred, but not required, for Tug Captains and Deck Officers.

Yup, they just fired 2 engineers and 2 more quite because they are cheap a**holes. Enjoy working for them...

C/E's duties include and are not limited to cooking, cleaning, painting, line handling, snow shovelling and very little to do with being an engineer.
