Gotta just love the "honesty questionaire", questions like "How much did you steal from your employer last year?" I replied "less than $5,000,000"

Another one asked if I saw my mother pick up a $20 bill on the street, would I report it to the police? I answered I'd go to the nearest pub and get blind drunk, my mother has been dead for years!

I didn't get the job, maybe it's because I wrote in the "Comments" column, "I wouldn't work for an organisation which assumes everyone is as dishonest as they are."

Sobeys ask the same type questions. And we mustn't forget the federal governments value and ethics program. I don't think the Senate read it going by headlines.

I asked the local MP about that. I pointed out that if I owned a commercial small fishing boat, I couldn't as a TC Inspector, give it to my son to operate, according to the Values and Ethics Code. He agreed, it's right there in the book.

So i asked him if I can't do it, how come Paul Martin, who was PM at the time, could?

He told me different rules apply.

Yeah, right!
