Marine Simulation Engineer - Marine Systems & Simulation
Permanent, Full-Time Position

POSITION PROFILE
The main responsibilities would include:

Create, calibrate and test real-time simulation of ship plant machinery/systems from the ship drawings, design and/ or test documents. The simulation is created using a graphical object-oriented simulation tool;
Work with the control engineers to integrate the simulation models to the Integrated Platform Management System (IPMS);
Prepare the simulation design document and/or final report.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering;
Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics;
Familiar with ship platform systems, diesel engine/gas turbine is an asset;
Familiar with one programming language (FORTRAN, C);
Bilingual (French and English);
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office; and
Security Clearance required.
