Our client is a world leader in complete power solutions. They currently have an immediate need for a senior level service technician based out of Vancouver, BC.

A short summary of responsibilities will include:
Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting on company products.
Perform electrical commissioning on ship.
Provide survey assisted when needed.
Submit and prepare parts requisitions when needed.
Ensure quality and efficiency of mechanical work is kept to a high standard at all times.
Ensure expense records and time sheets are up to date and accurate.
Ensure work is performed in accordance with manufactures specifications and ISO procedures.

Qualifications:
Must have high or medium speed engine overhaul and maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Technically savvy.
Be able to work to strict deadlines and under pressure.
5+ year's marine diesel experience on medium or high speed engines.
Good understanding of metric and standard measuring tools.
Experience in electro-pneumatic and /or electronic control systems.
