Position –Operations Representative
We are currently seeking candidates for Operations Representative in our Vancouver, British Colombia. The position have responsibility to oversee, coordinate and implement all activities for vessels while in port to include boarding and husbanding vessels under minimal supervision; Determine and carry out necessary arrangements and coordination prior to the vessel’s arrival and after the vessel’s departure to affect a smooth and efficient turnaround.

Key Skills
Knowledge & experience in chartering, logistics, seagoing experience (general maritime industry) or experience in related field.
Knowledge in local laws, rules, and regulations.
Think & work independently without supervision.
Balance multiple tasks, changing priorities & operate within a deadline oriented environment. Operate in a team environment.
Interact with principals and vendors in a professional manner.
Proactive & takes initiative – vision to see problem before it develops.
Successfully complete security background check.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Able to consistently & regularly attend work as required by the job to include overtime, split shifts, week-ends and holidays as needed.
Possess computer skills necessary to perform the job with typing skills for data entry.
Must be able to board ships.
Must be eligible to work in the Canada.
