Inland Liferafts & Marine are the leading commercial marine safety company in the Great Lakes.
We are currently seeking a Life Raft / Marine Technician to join our team with Inland Liferafts & Marine. The technician will assist with various functions in the branch, ensuring proper organization of the warehouse and inventory / equipment.
We are looking for someone who is driven and career oriented as well as outgoing and works well with others.
Key Job Responsibilities

- Conduct inspections and testing of life rafts and immersion suits to ensure compliance and government safety regulations and industry standards
- Perform visual inspections, pressure and seam integrity tests
- Perform minor and major repairs to life rafts and immersion suits as required
- Complete documentation including check sheets, log books, parts and certification paperwork
- Drive initiatives to increase productivity and meet customer demands
- Maintain efficient production speed and quality control
- Inspect and service rescue boats
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Marine Technician experience preferred
- Must have a valid Drivers Licence and be insurable
- Trailer Towing experience preferred
- Boating experience
