We are looking for dynamic individuals who can bring enthusiasm and innovative solutions to our various projects. Our Energy Company, Pennecon Energy Maintenance Services Ltd . has been awarded the contract to perform maintenance support to the Vale Long Harbour Processing Plant in Long Harbour, NL. This is an exciting opportunity for our company and we are currently accepting applications for the following positions:

Maintenance Technicians

If you are a high-energy, results driven individual with education and experience in these areas, we would like to give you an opportunity to meet with us. Maintenance Technicians are responsible for providing mechanical and electrical maintenance services, troubleshooting repairs and breakdowns, inspections and modifications to all types of equipment at our client’s facility.

In addition to the educational requirements listed, the successful candidates will also have experience in a flexible multifunctional maintenance work environment.

Scaffolder Erectors – Apprentices and Journeypersons will be considered.
HVAC – Journeyperson Red Seal Air Conditioning /Refrigeration Mechanic.
Electrician – Journeyperson Red Seal.
Carpenter – Journeyperson Red Seal.
Plumber - Journeyperson Red Seal.


You will be responsible to demonstrate superior safety behaviours in the execution of your work and support the Company’s safety, quality and environmental programs.

Candidates should have excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and computer skills to meet the needs of the role. You are an effective team player with a positive attitude. Maintenance Technicians should be motivated and have the ability to create a positive working environment to ensure mentoring, coaching and training of others in plant maintenance activities. Maintenance Technicians will be covered by a collective agreement and be represented by the FFAW – UNIFOR union with competitive wages and benefits.
