About the Opportunity

V2V Vacations is seeking a professional, knowledgeable and passionate Marine Engineer to work on-board the V2V Empress catamaran vessel. You will be part of a marine crew working to provide customers with an authentic and enjoyable vacation experience. We are looking for candidates who are prepared to develop in their career whilst the business grows. This will be a great opportunity to gain skills in the transportation, tourism, and marine sector.

Key Accountabilities

Overseeing the safe and efficient operation of all vessel systems.
Investigate, justify, and manage solutions to technical issues on vessel.
Implement and recommend improvements to the planned maintenance schedules for the vessel.
Together with the Master, monitor and manage compliance and accreditation to all regulatory, industry and classification codes and inspections for the vessel.

Essential Criteria

Qualified 2nd Class Engineer.
Knowledge of ISM/ISO/Transport Canada regulations and requirements.
Project Management experience sufficient to adequately manage dockings and multiple projects.
