Wonder if he wants an almost retired, decrepit old curmudgeon of a Chief Engineer?

What I would like to ask the crewing guy, if he has the courage to answer - What are you doing today to train people for tomorrow's requirements ?
Answer: Nothing. We expect to steal qualified people from our competition, pay them slightly below a living wage and then have the laws changed such that we can flag out to hire cheaper 3rd world crews claiming we cannot find any qualified Canadian.
The sell-out Temporary Foreign Worker program is our friend !!
Lets see if the crewing guy has the courage to answer. What say you, crewing guy ?

Just as a point of interest if you are addressing anything to the crewing co-ordinator - she is female.

I quite understand the North American accent and make the required allowances for it, so there's no problem there Martin. :)
