We are a Ship Management and crewing company operating and managing a modern fleet of DP shuttle tankers, tugs, bulk carrier, pilot boats and a product tanker. In addition, we provide crew management services to other vessel owners and operators. Our client, North Atlantic Refining Ltd has the M/T Marcellus Lady on charter for operations in Placentia Bay. The 25,000 ton tanker is crewed by Anglo Eastern Ship management and Canship Ugland Ltd will be the employer for the following position that will start immediately for a contract expiring January 2018. The rotation will be 6 weeks on/off;

Electrician

Qualifications: All candidates must have minimum of three months experience hold a Diploma, Electrical Engineering Technology or Journeyman Electrician certificate. Appropriate certification to comply with regulatory requirements for a Singapore flag LPG tanker, STCW certificate of competency and seafarers medical. In addition you must hold valid Passport, First Aid certificate, WHMIS, Vessel Security proficiency. Preference will be given to Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada

Job Description: Reporting to the Chief Engineer you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Electrical systems on board the vessel. You will also support the marine engineers in all work related to electrical.

Salary range: $75-$98,000 per annum.
