Job Purpose

Supports the verification of a gas turbine engine, with particular emphasis on test planning, readiness, and execution.

Key Accountabilities

Holds technical responsibility for planning, interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating test activities to meet customer objectives
Plans and guides the successful execution of tests using proper program management techniques
Leads the activities of Test Equipment, Test Facility, Experimental Dynamics, Experimental Systems, Instrumentation, and Assembly Engineers in defining, analyzing, and executing engine and component testing arrangements
Coordinates, creates, and presents Test technical plans, cost and schedule estimates, instructions, presentations, and reports
Leads test execution and validates test data to understand test facility and test article performance
Represents the organization as the technical contact on contracts and projects
Coordinates test article assembly and investigates test article assembly problems
Identifies and implements test execution efficiency improvements
Understands and documents test processes and procedures in the RRMS for use by other engineers
Ensures compliance with all relevant HS&E requirements associated with test preparation and execution
Assists less experienced engineers

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

0 - 8 years of experience in the aerospace industry
Technical Lead of a significant project - 100K GBP
Bachelors Degree
Ability to travel internationally
Bilingual in French and English
